A tasty recipe from my Cleanse program!

I think the best part about the Detox program isn’t the relief from headaches, bloat, allergies, excess weight, fatigue and digestive problems. ย It’s the delicious recipes that help to heal all of those things!!

Here’s one of my favorites: It’s SUPER healthy and it takes less than 20 minutes to prep and cook!

Sweet Potato and Broccoli Curry

Serves 2 – (adjust as needed)

Ingredients:
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
1 head of broccoli, chopped
2 Tbsp. coconut oil
1/4 tsp. curry powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
dash or 2 of cinnamon (I opt for 2)
1 Tbsp. fresh cilantro
sea salt and pepper, to taste
ย 
Steam the sweet potato and broccoli until tender. ย (Sweet Potato takes about 15 minutes and the broccoli 5. ย You can add the broccoli in the steaming basket when there’s 5 minutes left on the potato).
ย  Drain both then mash the sweet potato with coconut oil and spices. ย Toss the broccoli in at the end. ย  Top with fresh cilantro.
